HELLO! My name is Ariel C. Malec. 

Here is a little bit about me!

I am a 25 year old seeker of knowledge and stories. Gaining knowledge and engaging with stories is the meaning of life. We live as a species to learn and share our knowledge. To explore and experiment for new knowledge. Whether it is about gaining scientific, social, philosophical, or spiritual knowledge. Stories are important for understanding others around us and for contextualizing knowledge.

 Education and Career 

I am an almost graduate of Appalachian State University. I an pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Social Sciences. I am also completing minors in Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies and Non-Profit Organizations.  I have experience in crisis counseling, direct care, and therapeutic intervention. My goals are to graduate and work with a non-profit organization that focuses on helping individuals work through trauma experiences. Eventually, I would like to get my master's degree in expressive arts therapy and work as a therapist.

Personal Life

I am a proud cat mama of a beautiful 11 year old calico named Arya. We've been together for 9 nines now. I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my partner just hanging out at a local brewery, watching Netflix, or sitting around the fire. . In my spare time I love to read, cuddle up in bed, watch Netflix, and make lists. I am a list making machine!
